Powercolor HD 7850 SCS3 coming

Powercolor shared a quite interesting picture at its Facebook page, showing a fully passive Radeon HD 7850 graphics card.

Although it did not reveal any precise details regarding the new HD 7850 SCS3 graphics card, it is safe to assume that the card will be based on reference clocks set at 860MHz for the GPU and 4.8GHz for 1 or 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. The Powercolor HD 7850 SCS3 will actually be the only passively cooled HD 7850 once it appears in retail/e-tail, at least as far as we know.

The new graphics card uses what appears to be a reference PCB, takes two although we do not doubt that the SCS3 will be able to cope with HD 7850 temperatures when it comes to passively cooled graphics cards a good case airflow is a must. It features DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs and it appears that it will need a single 6-pin PCI-Express power connector.

Unfortunately, Powercolor did not shed any details regarding the actual release date or the price.
