Custom cooled

Sparkle has updated its GTS 450 lineup with yet another card that features a custom dual slot cooler to keep the temps and noise at lower levels compared to the reference card.

The card is based on Nvidia's 40nm GF106 GPU and works at 783MHz for the GPU, 1566MHz for those 192 CUDA Cores and 3608MHz for 512MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface. Although it features stock clocks, the new Sparkle GTS 450 comes with a custom dual-slot cooler that has a 92mm fan. According to Sparkle, the new cooler should keep the card at lower temperatures and should be up to nine percent quieter than the reference cooled card.

The new GTS 450 still feautres two DVI and HDMI outputs and needs a single 6-pin PCI-Express power connector. Unfortunately, the price or the availability date haven't been announced.
