Qualcomm introduced Prime core clocked rest from the cluster with Snapdragon 865, and Huawei had two higher clock performance cores in Kirin 990. With that in mind, ARM has introduced the Cortex-X custom program. The result is up to 30 percent peak performance compared to previous generation Cortex A77 cores.

Review: Great battery life ACPC

The machine did an impressive job with a nice screen, unique detachable design, and decent, but not great battery life. Qualcomm and Lenovo showcased the world’s first 5G PC at Computex. The PC is based on Qualcomm’s 8cx platform and comes with additional 5G connectivity. Lenovo calls this design "Project Limitless", based on world’s first 7nm platform purpose-built for PCs.

Qualcomm's Sanjey Mehta, SVP and General manager of compute products, and Miguel Nunes, senior director of compute products, introduced and showed off a few features of the Snapdragon 8cx, a SoC that many called Snapdragon 1000 or 8150/8180. This is a SoC built from the ground up with a bigger Adreno 680 GPU, still fanless and with a lot of new tricks.
