Big news today from Capcom - the company is currently working on a new Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 that is in development for a 2011 release. It is described as having a deep story that will be more like a living comic book than a typical video game experience. Expect it in the fall of 2011 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Capcom has also announced that Bionic Commando will be back with Bionic Commando ReArmed 2. While sales were said to be a bit soft on the first remake in the Bionic Commando title, it sold well enough when the price was lowered that it has generated enough interest for a sequel. Reports suggest that many of the same developers who worked on the first re-make are involved with the new version, as well, with a new studio who has taken over from departed developer, Grin.

Okamiden will be headed to North America from Japan at some point later this year. Dead Rising 2 will have a more important role this time around and Capcom will be doing an exclusive prequel for the Xbox 360 that will fill in the gaps between the first and second game. Right now, the prequel is said to be exclusive, but we have been unable to confirm that this is actually the case; but apparently Capcom has used the word exclusive when referring to this Dead Rising prequel.

Lost Planet 2 already has downloadable content in the pipeline for after the release of the game. It is unknown how much content is actually coming, but we know that we will get additional maps for sure. Sengoku Barsara will be taking a shot at the North American market, but it is unknown how this Japanese title will do outside of Japan; but Capcom is going to try it. The new upcoming Super Street Fighter IV will include a unique system for hosting and managing online tournaments, which is a first for a title of this type.

Looks like Capcom does have some good stuff in the pipeline, but the wait till Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is released could be one of the worst things that many have had to endure in quite some time. Still, it is good to find out that it is coming.
