Ken Levine who really has made a name for himself isn’t working on the next BioShock, but instead is working on something new. No one knows what this new project is, including Strauss Zelnick who is at the top of the org-chart at Take-Two.

We do know that he is creating a new franchise, so the idea that he is working on a new X-Com title is out, because that already is a franchise. Beyond that, like everyone else we will have to wait till sometime in 2010 when he has promised to make an announcement of what exactly he is working on with his team.

No matter how hard we dig, no one seems to be talking on what it is he could be up to; but Levine is viewed as someone who can develop a new franchise, which is what Take-Two needs more of to contribute to its bottom line. Take-Two has been talking up the need to develop and establish new franchises like BioShock and Borderlands with brand new IP, as many people are tired of playing the same old thing.
