Firewalker five mission pack announced

Electronic Arts is working hard to prove to gamers that there is excellent value in buying new copies of a game, rather than a used copy. To that end, BioWare has announced a new Firewalker downloadable content pack for the recently released Mass Effect 2.

The catch to getting the Firewalker downloadable content pack for free is that you need to be a member of the Cerberus Network. which is the portal that the code contained with new copies if Mass Effect 2. Of course, you can opt to pay $15 to get access to the Cerberus Network by purchasing the download that unlocks it. While EA is spinning this as a sort of loyalty program, the effect is still that you have to have either purchased the game new, or it is going to cost you $15 later.

The Firewalker pack will offer an additional five missions that all feature the Hammerhead heavy assault hover vehicle. The pack, as we explained above, will be free for download to members of the Cerberus Network and it is expected to arrive in late March.
