Asus, which has taken over the Next Unit of Computing (NUC) from Intel, has now officially announced the new Asus NUC 14 Pro.

Asus unveiled the new NUC lineup at CES 2024 in Las Vegas earlier this year, and now it is officially launching it in two versions, the NUC 14 Pro Mini PC and the NUC 14 Pro Kit. Both are available in slim and tall chassis options, measuring at 117x112x37mm or 117x112x54mm.

According to the specifications, the Asus NUC 14 Pro will be coming equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7, Intel Core Ultra 5, or Intel Core 3 processors, Intel Arc graphics on some SKUs, and Intel's newest NPU for AI, support up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory in two SODIMM slots, have two M.2 PCIe x4 Gen 4 slots (one 2280 and one 2242), as well as SATA 2.5-inch slot in tall chassis, has Intel WiFi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.3, Intel i226 2.5Gb Ethernet, and Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 and other ports.

Surprisingly, the NUC 14 Pro Mini PC version is only listed with Core Ultra 7 155H, Ultra 7 135H, and Ultra 5 125H CPUs, while the NUC 14 Pro Kit gets all the options from the Core Ultra 7 165H with vPro down to Core 3 100U CPU.

Back at CES 2024, Asus also confirmed to us that the NUC Extreme model is no more, and will be replaced by Asus' own ROG NUC lineup. Asus also showed the NUC 14 Pro+ at CES 2024, which comes in a more stylish aluminum chassis with an updated 5x4 form-factor and up to Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, but so far we haven't heard any information about that one.

The Asus NUC 14 Pro lineup should be coming to the market soon and you can check out more details over at Asus' NUC 14 site.

There are plenty of ASUS NUC 14 Pro Mini PC and Pro Kit listed at Asus' Amazon site but are currently out of stock. The least expensive Barebone kit starts at $394, while the most expensive one is priced at $724.
