12VO standard

MSI will unveil its latest innovation that Intel claims will slash your PC's power bills and boost its performance. The tech giant has developed two new motherboards and a power supply that use the revolutionary 12VO standard, cutting down on the cables and connectors.

Intel’s 12VO standard delivers 12 volts of power directly to your PC's components, eliminating the need for 3.3 and 5-volt supplies. This means less clutter, less heat, and less cost for you. MSI is the first to adopt this standard for both Intel and AMD platforms, giving you more choice and flexibility.

The new products, dubbed the Pro B650 12VO WiFi, Pro H610M 12VO, and MSI 12VO PSU, are expected to launch at the CES 2024 show in Las Vegas.

Tech magazine HardwareLux spotted a 12VO-compliant FSP power supply in a compact system with a massive graphics card.

MSI's new products are not only more efficient but also more powerful. The Pro B650 12VO WiFi supports the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processors and PCIe 4.0 devices, while the Pro H610M 12VO supports 10th Gen Intel Core processors and PCIe 3.0 devices.

The MSI 12VO PSU delivers 500 watts of power with 80 Plus Bronze efficiency and a 120mm fan for optimal cooling.
