Sources are telling us that developer Harmonix of Rock Band fame has been hard at work on a dance title for the Xbox 360 that will use the Natal technology. The unnamed Dance game will be based entirely around dancing; and while it is being developed by Harmonix, it is not using any of the Rock Band team for development.

Dance games have not had a good run as of late, with the majority of them going no place at all. The exception to this was the Wii Just Dance from Ubisoft, which has sold almost three million units, according to reports. With the addition of Natal support, however, Harmonix must think that they have the ability to reinvent the genre and we think that is what they are going to have to do to get this dance title to translate into sales.
