Rockstar expected to release another patch

Rockstar has released the next patch for Red Dead Redemption and the patch goes a long way to solve many of the problems and glitches that players were encountering. Perhaps the biggest fix in the latest patch is the apparent resolution to the invisibility bug; the latest patch seems to address this issue, which is a big help.

Our sources tell us that Rockstar apparently has a laundry list of fixes, as well as some slight enhancements that they are expected to roll out into another patch for release sometime in next couple of weeks. Attempts are being made to downplay the issues that users were having, but several of the more serious glitches attracted significant attention. Rockstar has been stepping up their efforts to resolve these issues and get fixes out as soon as possible.

Despite some of the issues with the title, the momentum continues to be strong for this title; and Take Two, as well as Rockstar, is excited about the sales potential that the title could have long-term. We already know that Rockstar has a co-op DLC pack in the works as well as some other additional DLC content that is expected to arrive. It would seem, however, that the developer has put the DLC on the back burner until the major issues are resolved with the title, which might delay the release of the first DLC pack (or so our sources tell us).
