BMW's in-car wireless charging breaks iPhones

We are not sure who is in the right here

Two of the world's most beloved tribes are going to war over wireless charging.

BMW drivers - famous for their tailgating, parking across two carparks, are complaining that their iPhone's were breaking when they were charged using BMW's in-car wireless charging sytem.

Apparently after charging the iPhone it triggers Apple's legendary security system, turning the iPhone 15 into what is known in Latin as a Biggus Brickus.

Users have been complaining about BMW wireless chargers breaking Apple Pay and the BMW digital key feature in posts on Reddit, Apple's Support community, and MacRumors' own forums.

Of course the Tame Apple Press is saying that it has nothing to do with Apple in fact Jobs' Mob has so far refused to fix it. Apparently it only affects a "small number of users" who only experience a temporary loss of their expensive phones.

We guess that Beemer users are rare in Apple Land.

Apple reportedly says that until the fix comes out, anyone who experiences this should not use the wireless charger in their car.
