3DMark Fire Strike record shattered

In order to promote its recently launched EVGA X79 Dark motherboard as well as the GTX Titan graphics card, EVGA has teamed up with Vince “k|ngp|n” Lucido at Computex 2013 and already managed to shatter some of the 3DMark FireStrike records.

The system consisted of the EVGA X79 Dark motherboard paired up with Intel's Core i7-3930K clocked at 5.7GHz and G.Skill TridentX memory, four EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN graphics cards, and several EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified power supplies. This setup was enough for Vince “k|ngp|n” Lucido to achieve 30,789 in 3DMark Fire Strike benchmark and 15,276 in the same benchmark with a single card. He also managed to get a new world record in Fire Strike Extreme scoring 19,491 overall score and 7,623 with a single card.

We are quite sure that this is just a start and that we will hear more about this joint effort between EVGA and Vince.
