Polycarbonate and aluminium back

The HTC One is now official. The phone was unveiled this morning and the rumoured spec sheet was spot on.

It features a 4.3-inch SLCD3 display with a resolution of 1280x720 wrapped in a polycarbonate body with an aluminium back cover. It is powered by Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.4GHz and it packs 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal non-expandable storage.

The headline feature is the acclaimed 4.1-megapixel UltraPixel camera, the same one used on the HTC One. Other features include LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, front facing 1.6-megapixel camera, but it lacks NFC.

HTC says it will start shipping the Mini in August, but sadly it has not revealed the pricing. Still, we must admit it is a very interesting mid-range phone, it has the looks and the brains – and it has a great camera.

Let’s just hope HTC’s pricing stays on the sane side.
