One to have for new games

Nvidia has released its latest Geforce 382.05 WHQL Game Ready driver, which brings optimizations for a couple of new games, including Prey, as well as fixing some multi-GPU and general issues which have been seen in earlier driver releases.

According to the release notes, the Geforce 382.05 WHQL Game Ready driver should provide the optimal gaming experience for Prey and Battlezone as well as bring a better multi-GPU performance in Gears of War 4 game.

It also adds or updates SLI profiles for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III games.

The fixed bugs list is rather short and includes a fix for texture corruption in No Man's Sky with SLI enabled, blue-screen crash in World of Tanks when SLI mode is enabled and while Alt+Tab is pressed during the game, blue-screen crash in Gears of War after the boot up movies, a fix for Nvidia Control Panel tray icon, black screen issues under cold boot up and fix for issue when the extended displays are unable to enter sleep mode in multi-display configuration.

As always, the Geforce 382.05 WHQL Game Ready driver includes all features, performance improvements and bug fixes brought by the earlier Geforce 382 series drivers and is available for Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

You can download the new Geforce 382.05 WHQL Game Ready driver via Nvidia driver support page or automatically via Geforce Experience software.
