Game Ready driver for Sniper Elite 4 and For Honor

AMD has released a WHQL-certified version of its Radeon Software Crimson ReLive edition 17.2.1 driver which brings support for Sniper Elite 4 and For Honor games as well as fixes some bugs.

According to the release notes, the Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.2.1 WHQL driver has support for Sniper Elite 4 and For Honor games with up to four percent and five percent improvement on Radeon RX 480 8GB series graphics card, respectively. It also adds DirectX 11 multi-GPU profile for those two games.

The driver also comes with an extensive list of fixed bugs in games like For Honor, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Civilization VI, DayZ and GRID Autosport games as well as fixes some problems seen with DXVA H.264 encoded video on Radeon GCN products, bugs with AMD FreeSync, problems with memory clocks on Radeon R9 380 series and bugs with Radeon ReLive recording.

What makes this release interesting is that AMD has dropped support for 32-bit Windows 8.1 OS, so this one only has 32-bit and 64-bit support for Windows 7 and Windows 10 OS while Windows 8.1 OS is stuck with 64-bit version.

As always, you can check out the full release notes as well as download the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 17.2.1 driver at AMD's dedicated support page.
