According to Techcrunch, the update adds more than just a new processor to the old HP Spectre x360 laptop and has some tweaks that make it more like HP’s 13.3-inch laptop.

What we are looking at is slimmed down by 2mm of thickness so it is 13.8mm. It has the new HP logo (yawn), and an infrared camera that enables Windows Hello authentication.

There is an edge-to-edge display that supports FHD (1080p). As the name suggests HP retained the 360-degree hinge from previous generations.

HP has also improved the battery to 57.8Wh battery with fast charging (90 minutes to 90% charge) this will make it better than the Macbook Pro, which given it does not have the iOS in it and also lacks the Apple logo, is not difficult.

It has two new Thunderbolt 3 ports which have a clever disguise as USB Type-C jacks and it uses a bigger standard SSD which can be increased up to 1TB.

The entry-level model has a Core i5 processor, but you can get a Core i7-7500U upgrade option which will take you to 3.5 GHz). It is in the shops now starting at $1,049.99.
