Top brass at the event

AMD has now officially announced its press conference that will be held on June 1st, during Computex 2016 show in Taipei, Taiwan, which will be all about Polaris GPU updates as well as AMD's 7th generation A-series APUs.

While the new Polaris GPU based graphics cards will be finally announced at this event, it appears that AMD will bring its top brass to the press conference, including AMD CEO, Dr. Lisa Su; Senior Vice President and General Manager, Computing and Graphics Business Group, also an ex. Intel chap, Jim Anderson; and the Radeon Technologies Group head honcho, Raja Koduri.

It is pretty sure that AMD will finally unveil its new Radeon 400 series graphics cards based on 14nm Polaris GPU architecture. Unfortunately, AMD is targeting the completely different part of the market as the upcoming Polaris-based graphics cards will cover the mainstream market while high-end will have to wait for the Vega GPU.

AMD has also put a lot of hope in its new Zen CPU architecture so hopefully we will see and hear a bit more details about that during the press event.

The event will be streamed live and we will surely keep an eye on it as it appears that Computex 2016 show will be quite impressive with a lot to see.
