Stalkers just can’t get a break
Facebook has pulled its new location-based Find Friends Nearby feature. The service was rolled out over the weekend but it earned quite a reputation in its first (and last) couple of days.
Irresponsible tech hacks, ourselves included, jumped at the opportunity to describe it as a stalker app, which it really is, or was until Facebook pulled it.
A few hundred puns later, the service is no more and Facebook claim that it was never intended for public use to begin with, as it was devised for internal testing. So if you still want to stalk your high school sweetheart, you’ll just have to get a job at Facebook.
