Trion Worlds has announced that Defiance will finally go free-to-play on the Xbox 360. The science fiction MMO shooter had already gone free-to-play on the PC and PlayStation 3 this past summer.

Xbox 360 owners who have a Xbox Live Gold account will be able to install it. Once the game is run and the latest patch is installed players will be converted to the free-to-play version.
