No microtransactions in PC version of Ryse

by on29 September 2014

Microsoft or Crytek did not want them in the first place?

The PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome does not have the microtransactions that were in the Xbox One version. Apparently Crytek has removed them from the PC version.

It is not clear if the microtransactions that we in the Xbox One version were a decision made by Microsoft or Crytek. The microtransactions allowed for the purchase of “booster packs” that once purchased allowed the player to get customizations items and upgrades more quickly.

The PC version does have the 4 DLC packs that were released and sold separately on the Xbox One. The PC versions also includes the additional skins, new multiplayer maps, and the survival mode that was on the Xbox One version.

The PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome is set for release on October 7th in North America and October 10th in Europe. It will also add new 4K graphics support as well as the ability to tweak other graphics options.
