Those picking up Driveclub for the PlayStation 4 are in for a little bonus. Sony and developer Evolution studios have announced that they will be giving away free DLC.

In addition to the free DLC updates that will add dynamic weather, photo mode, and 11 additional tracks, buyers of the game will also be getting a free downloadable car every month from release day till June of 2015.

The entire model for Driveclub is a bit confusing but, from the way we understand it, those that are PS Plus subscribers can download the game with 11 tracks with 23 routes with 9 cars for free. You also have the option of buying the actual game at retail with real money and that gets you more tracks (routes), tour packs, liveries, and of course cars. Players can also opt to purchase the Season Pass which gets you more tracks (routes) and cars.

Driveclub arrives on October 7th in North America and October 10th in Europe. Some retailers are offering additional bonus cars if you opt to pre-order at retail. Gamestop for example is throwing in the RUF RT12 R Pack and the McLaren 12C Pack for those that pre-order.
