EA to push NBA Live 15 back

by on11 September 2014

Not that we are too surprised actually

The game that can’t seem to catch a break suffers a three week delay. That’s right Electronic Arts has confirmed that it will be pushing back the release of NBA Live 15 in order to give the developers some extra time to polish the game.

NBA Live 15 will now arrive three weeks later than originally announced on October 28th. The move avoids going head to head with NBA 2K15 which arrives on October 10th. The decision to push back the release date was apparently a hard decision according to executive producer Sean O’Brien, but he feels that it is the right one to make sure that players get an incredible NBA experience from start to finish. O’Brien adds that the team is totally committed to delivering the highest-quality game that they can.

The news of a delay on a NBA Live really isn’t that surprising and the game has been plagued with problems for years. EA has done a number of things, including taking time off from producing the series in hopes that they can get it right. So far, while there have been improvements, the franchise has not hit its stride just yet.
