Xbox One to get Pinball FX2

by on17 July 2014

No import option like on the PS4

Zen Studios, the developer of Pinball FX2 has confirmed that they are bringing their pinball fun to the Xbox One. The Xbox One version will be released on Thursday, July 31st. Pretty much the entire existing table library for Pinball FX2 has been converted over to the Xbox One and will be offered for sale starting on release day.

While that all sounds good, those that purchased all those tables on the Xbox 360 will be unhappy to learn that unlike the PlayStation 4 version of the game, players will not be able to import the tables that they purchased for the Xbox 360 version into the new Xbox One version. (All DLC table content is cross platform compatible between the PS4, PS3, and PlayStation Vita) Zen Studios has responded to this disappointing news only by saying that this was not an option that was available to them.

As with the Xbox 360 release, the Pinball FX2 title is free to download and it will come with Sorcerer’s Lair table free of charge. The Xbox One version runs at 1080p 60fps and offers a new menu interface with worldwide tournaments and new achievements to earn.

Still that might not be enough if you already own a large number of tables on the Xbox 360 version.
