Event scheduled in NYC

According to an invite sent to select members of the press, LG has scheduled an event in New York City on August 7th where it will unveil its new G2 flagship smartphone.

In case you missed it earlier, the LG G2 is based around a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 screen and expected to feature Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 800 quad-core SoC clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel camera in the back. It will also have some unique features like the back-mounted volume controls and will surely find its place in, now already crowded, flagship market.

If you are an LG fan, be sure to mark August 7th in your calendar and check out the new LG G2 smartphone.
