In addition to the Razer Blade Pro 17.3-inch gaming notebook, Razer also announced a new and redesigned 14-inch Blade notebook that will also be based on upcoming Intel Haswell platform and also paired up with the new Geforce GTX 765M Kepler GPU.

Spec wise, the new Razer Blade is built around a 14.0-inch HD+ 1600x900 LED backlit screen and powered by yet to be revealed Haswell CPU with 37W TDP and Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. While the Blade Pro uses yet to be detailed 47W TDP Core i7 CPU, the 14-inch Blade is equipped with a 37W one, but still a Core i7.

It also features Optimus GPU switching technology. The rest of the specifications are pretty much the same as on the Blade Pro notebook so we are looking at 8GB of DDR3L-1600 memory, Killer™ Wireless-N 1202 for 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, 256GB of SATA III SSD storage, HD webcam, three USB 3.0 ports and HDMI output and Anti-Ghosting keyboard with adjustable backlight with Synapse 2.0 but lacks the Razer Switchblade user interface.

It will run on Windows 8 64-bit OS and feature 70Whr battery that is quite hefty considering its size. The 345x235x16.8mm Blade weighs just 1.88kg, which is quite impressive and enough for Razer to claim "the world's thinnest gaming laptop" and note that it is actually thinner than a dime.

As it was the case with Razer Blade Pro, the new 14-inch Blade will also be available for pre-order on June 3rd in the USA and Canada with a starting price set at US $1,799.

You can check it out here.
